I’ll show you how to make a last minute Christmas present – a gift certificate to anything you can dream up – with your Cricut Maker and perforation tip.

Update: I’ve added SVG files for the Explore and Joy machines too!

Are you looking for smaller, Tear Away Gift Card holders? Those are designed to just stick a gift card inside. They’re perfectly sized for the Cricut Joy and so easy to make.

Please tell me I’m not the only one trying to finish up just one last gift before going to bed on Christmas Eve!

Since we live overseas, often the grandparents will have us add to the kids’ savings accounts or buy something for the family.

My husband said he could make a card… but I wanted to try this.

I designed a card with a pull-away tab. It is cut with the Cricut Maker and the Perforation tip.

Then, I used my Maker to write on the inside of the ticket.

Use strong double-sided tape or glue on the back edges of the certificate cover.

Press them together.

The back side is slightly larger than the front to give it a nice-looking border.

My husband doesn’t know it yet, but he’s getting gift certificates for movie nights!

Two tickets to Hamilton? Yes, please! (It just happens to be showing in our living room. No travel needed.)

The SVG file is in the Free Files Folder for all subscribers to access. (Sign up at the bottom of the page for your free access if you don’t have the โœจ magic word โœจ yet.)

If you are using the Cricut Maker or Maker 3 and the perforation blade, download design #45 from the Free Files Folder.

If you are using a Cricut Explore or Joy, download design #63 from the Free Files Folder.

After uploading the file to Design Space, change the two rectangles to the “Perf” Linetype.

Make sure that all of the text is set to draw in the color of your choice, and that everything is attached.

I’ve included a few different titles and holiday sentiments so you can choose to use the one you like best.

I hope you enjoyed making these last-minute Christmas gifts with your Cricut Maker!

Ready to download the project file? Head over to the ๐Ÿ“‚ Free Files Folder and enter the โœจ magic word. โœจ (If you don’t have the magic word, just fill in the form below first.)
