It’s not just for Halloween…. maybe your friend needs a bit of humor when dealing with an annoying co-worker?

How to make the Twist and Pop Card
Cut out the card base, card cover, twist-and-pop mechanism, and banner base out of 65-lb cardstock, using the “Cardstock for Intricate Cuts” material setting.
Use Cricut Design Space to Print-Then-Cut the cover image (and the inside witch if you like) on white cardstock.
Use Cricut Design Space to Print-Then-Cut the potion bottles and text for the inside banner on printable vinyl sticker paper; I love the way holographic paper looks!
Assemble the card base and cover by folding the base in half, and gluing on the covers.
Burnish along all of the mechanism’s score lines both ways.
Press in to fold the mechanism as shown.
Glue the mechanism into the card base. Be sure to only put glue on the front and back of the triangles.
If you want to glue in the inside card pieces, now is the time (before the banner is in the way; I forgot to do that when I made this card.)
You can use the pieces for contrast, as I did here, or else use a light color if you wish to write a message inside the card.
Fold and burnish along the score lines on the banner.
Apply the stickers to the banner.
Fold the banner into a “W” shape.
Test the folds on the twist and pop mechanism to ensure they work properly.
Place a small amount of glue as indicated. Use Beacon’s 3-in-1 Advanced Crafting Glue if possible.
Quickly, put the banner in place and close the card.
You will have to slide the banner up a little towards the center of the card, so that it doesn’t stick out the end. (This is why Beacon’s 3-in-1 Advanced Crafting Glue works the best for this card.)
When you open the card, the center of the banner still protrudes up.
