Tips:
Use 65 lb cardstock.
Watch the video comparing how high the cubes jump using 100 lb paper vs. 65 lb paper. (While you’re there, and add me on Instagram if it’s your thing.)
Organize your SVGs and PDFs on your desktop computer with these pretty folder icons!

Download them from the Free Files Folder.
They are design #130 – Cardstock and Cash Cascade File Folder Icons.

My web host is looking at the problem right now. Don’t worry, this page and video will remain online after the event ends.

I signed up for this event, but I’ve gotten no emails from it and can’t access the video. Help! (I was able to get the files.)

Emily, I clicked on the get tutorial here link in my email but I can’t figure out how to get the tutorial. The YouTube video won’t play & nothing I click on allows me to save the tutorial, it’s also not a full tutorial on this page it brought me to. I even tried clicking on free files folder & Explosion boxes. The SVG link also didn’t come up in Google docs either. Please help, I’m in EST time zone so I have limited time today to get this workshop.

Perhaps try playing the video directly at the YouTube link? https://youtu.be/Vc7Od6i1A2g?si=Hd42jduNiBSch-A5
Did you click on the red GET SVG button in your email to get the file?
If you’re still having problems, email me directly at emily@minordiy.com and I’ll be happy to help.

So cute! My grandson’s birthday is in a couple of weeks and he is a real trickster. I think he will enjoy this.
Emily says
I bet he will!
I bought a pack of double-sided birthday paper and it made it VERY easy to get perfectly-matched papers and colors for this project. I’ll add the link to the post if you want to check it out.
Bonnie Gwilliam says
If I make 3 of these boxes, do I need to triple my paper supplies or will some of the colored paper have enough left over for another project?
Emily says
You will need to triple the number of pieces of paper for the cubes (6 per box), and get 6 pieces of the 55 pt. cardstock if you’re using that. (If you have 110 lb cardstock, that would work too.)
The rest of the pieces can be cut out of any type of cardstock; it’s more so if you want certain papers to match.
I hope that helps!

If I’m making 3 Cascade Gift Boxes, will I need to triple all the cardstock supplies?
Anonymous says
can’t wait for this!!

I signed up just to see this project! It looks wonderful!!! Do you think it would work with a gift card or would that be too heavy.
Emily says
I think it would work! I’m going to test it.

I’m looking for a fun way to give cash so I can’t wait to watch this.
