Looking for more fun ideas for your Elf on the Shelf? Free printable Elf on the Shelf notes make these easy to do.

Need some blank Elf-themed stationary? Scroll down to the bottom of the post for free printable PDF blank Elf on the Shelf Note Cards.

Elf Art Studio (Free Printable & Using things you already have)

To make elf-sized colored pencils: Cut toothpicks in half, then color them with markers. Add just a bit of color for the pencil tip.

I found the coloring book at Dollar Tree, but you can stack any coloring books or art supplies that you already have.

The “Elf Art Studio” sign and coloring pages are in the free printable. It’s design #88 – Elf Art Studio with Coloring Pages in the Free Files Folder.

Snowmen

Most kids are going to TOTALLY crack up at this joke!!

Here’s a link to more snowmen jokes. You could also place them all around the house so they’d find them throughout the day. (There are blank note cards at the end of the post.)

Has your Elf brought a snowman back from the North Pole yet?

Download the free printable PDF Snowman-Themed Note Cards from the Free Files Folder. They’re design #91 – Snowman Printables & Jokes.

Elf’s Magic Shrinking Machine

The Elf is shrinking normal-size cookies to Elf-sized cookies!

The most time-consuming part of this was wrapping the box.

For the “conveyor belt,” I just cut pieces of the inside box flaps.

Download the free printable PDF signs from the Free Files Folder. They’re design # 92 – Elf’s Magic Shrinking Machine.

Standing Elf

This prop makes your Elf on the Shelf stand straight up!

I found it at Walmart – you can also order it on Amazon. The best part is that you can use the pants to make your Elf stand up anywhere! The tray, apron and visor aren’t needed for it to stand.

Dress your Elf in an Ugly Christmas Suit, Sweater or Dress

Do you have special Christmas clothes yet? Dress your elf up too!

The download for this set-up is design #89 – Elf notes: Special Clothes, Party, and Performance.

Find an outfit that you want your elf to “wear.” Right-click on the image, then save it.

Print the image out, trim it, and tape it to your elf. If it’s a little bit bigger, it looks better as the print wraps around it more.

Our Elf gave the boys these suits before the Christmas Market.

Looking for some colorful clothing this holiday season? Try these…

Ugly Christmas Suit (for kids) – Ugly Christmas Dress (for kids)

Ugly Christmas Suit (for adults) – Ugly Christmas Dress (for adults)

There are lots of special occasions during the holiday season that your child might have, so I created four different notes so you can use the most appropriate one.

The free printable PDF download (with all four notes) is design #89 – Elf notes: Special Clothes, Party, and Performance.

Write notes from your Elf every night

I’m sure your elf often needs to explain their mischief or share a personal message.

Our Elf uses the same stationary every year. I’ve created blank Elf Stationary for you too!

Download the free printable PDF blank Elf on the Shelf Note Cards from the Free Files Folder. They’re design #90 – Blank Elf on the Shelf Cards.

Fun to walk down memory lane. My favorite elf position was always making a fishing rod and having the elf fishing goldfish crackers from the toilet. But totally love the shrinking machine!!
