Print out and color in a countdown banner to help brighten your days!
With all this time away from the physical locations of work and school, and even away from all friends and family, I thought I would make a banner so that we can keep track of the time that passes.
We are off school for five weeks at least; the schools are closed for three weeks and we have another two weeks off for Easter Vacation after that. We don’t know when life will be back to normal.
Coloring is supposed to be calming and therapeutic, right? Adult coloring books are all the rage.
I have to admit, I really enjoyed coloring these mosaic numbers in.
It’s a good project to keep the kids occupied for a few minutes.
I left some of the banners blank so that you can fill them in with whatever you want to keep track of!
After I created the banner, I realized maybe we shouldn’t be looking forward so much to the return to school. Perhaps we should be recording something more positive instead.
Here are a few ideas for you.

I wish this was my goal for the month.
Rolls of toilet paper left. RATION!
It’s a little crazy, right?

Also… goals.
The style of the letters makes them really fun to color in.
It reminds me of Barcelona and all of the amazing creations by Antoni Gaudi.
Next, we have a bit of educational content for older kids:
– Check out these amazing photos of Parc Guell
– Casa Batllo
– Take a virtual tour of La Sagrada Familia
You and the kids will enjoy creating a colorful banner to display in your home, and learning a little more about Gaudi’s use of mosaic.
