This project will be available during the upcoming Create with Cricut Joy summit, July 13 – 16. You can grab the free ticket here!
This is a free 4-day event with awesome Joy-sized projects. You’ll be inspired and perhaps surprised by all of the things you may not know your Cricut Joy can make.
With most presentations having a holidays-in-July theme, you can get a jump on your fall and holiday crafting too.
Looking for the bonus files for the Camera gift box I mentioned in my workshop? You can download them from the Free Files Folder. They are design # 114 – Camera Buttons and Flashes – PNG files.
Looking for the Mantle-Worthy Photo Card insert? You can purchase it here.
Want the Create with Cricut Joy folder icon? It’s design # 113 – Create with Cricut Joy Folder Icons in the Free Files Folder. There’s a folder just for the Camera Gift Box too! Here’s the tutorial if you need a refresher on changing those plain computer folder icons to these pretty ones.

How do I make this project with a Cricut Explore or Maker?
Skip the part of the tutorial where you upload the “Joy Print Then Cut Template SVG.”
Resize the flash and button PNGs to fit the sizes in the SVG shown below.

Follow the tutorial on cropping your photo to fit the lens. (This is at 9:20 in the video.)
Skip the part when I print the stickers and then cut them with the Joy.
Start following the video again at 20:50, where I upload the camera gift box SVG and show how to adjust in Design Space. Use the actual Score operation instead of the ‘foil’ workaround needed with the Joy.
“Make It” like you would any other project.
Drop a comment below if you have any other questions!
Who’s going to be presenting workshops?
Lots of your favorite craft bloggers!
What’s My Workshop Going To Be On?
Learn to hack Print Then Cut with a Cricut Joy using this hack and free template!
I’ll teach you how to add your own photos to projects using Design Space.
Then, we’ll craft a cute camera with a photo lens using your new skill. It’s a gift box that holds 4×6 photo prints; you’ll create a one-of-a-kind keepsake that makes a perfect gift.
My presentation is free on the first day (July 13th) so sign up for your free ticket right away. (Remember to download the free SVG file during the 24 hours! It’s not available later.)
What if I don’t want to wait?
You can sign up for the free ticket, then immediately upgrade to the VIP Pass.
If you purchase the VIP Pass, you gain immediate access to all of the workshops and bonuses. This is beneficial if you’re impatient to start these amazing projects or if you won’t have a lot of time during the week to watch the workshops.
You’ll not only get ongoing access to the recorded sessions, you’ll also get a bunch of other great goodies, including things like:
- Bonus SVG bundles to make even more great projects
- Extra full-length classes that will teach you everything from making an easy watercolor card to how to personalize your gifts with rhinestones, with a lot in between
- Fantastic ebooks to help you plan your crafts, organize your craft room, learn everything about your Cricut Joy, and more
- Free craft memberships and coupon codes

It’s also great to have the option to go back and watch workshops when you are ready to try something new; maybe you aren’t into making earrings now… but you could be next year.

As a thank-you gift, I’ll send you the Mantle-Worthy Photo Card SVG! It’s sized to perfectly fit into the Camera Box.

Want to prepare for my workshop? Here are the Materials and Supplies needed:
Foil tip (to use for scoring) – This is the official Cricut foil tip kit with gold and silver foil sheets. However, I bought the Likart foil tip kit as it has purple, blue, and green foil colors along with the standard gold and silver sheets.
Cricut Joy Blue LightGrip 12-inch cutting mat
Weeding hook and/or piercing tool
Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue
110 lb cardstock – three sheets for the base (I frequently use heavyweight black cardstock, so I bought this 100-sheet pack from Recollections)
Two sheets of colored cardstock for the decorative sides – change up the colors to suit whatever occasion you’re creating it for. 12×12 Cardstock Shop has some fantastic options!
Metallic cardstock for the lid embellishments – I use metallic posterboard or AstroBrights Metallic Cardstock
Printable glossy vinyl sticker paper OR glossy photo paper
A high-quality printer – I absolutely love my Epson XP-15000 Wide Format Photo Printer
