How to access the Free Files Folder: A quick password trouble-shooting tutorial
πππ
Where do I find the password?
The password (AKA β¨ magic wordβ¨) is located at the very bottom of each email I send to my digital community.
πππ
Why do I have to enter a password if the file is free?
Having a password helps keep my designs safer. It adds an extra layer of security against hackers for my website, and adds one more step for anyone who might be trying to copy my files.

How do I sign up for the password?
At the bottom of most pages, there will be a form to fill it. Often, it looks like this.
Fill in your name and email, then check your email.
Don’t see it after a few minutes? Try searching for “minorDIY.com”. Sometimes, you’re already on my list so the email doesn’t resend.
Still can’t find it? Enter your email address again in the form very carefully. Often, people hit one key wrong so the address reads .con instead of .com or something.
It’s still not coming? Email me at emily@minordiy.com.

I have the password, but it’s not working!
Double-check that it’s correct; the best way is to copy/paste it from the email.
It’s rare, but sometimes the password doesn’t work even though you’re entering it correctly. It has something to do with the cookies on your computer. After some time passes, the cookies reset, but I know you donβt want to wait!
If it happens to you, do this: π
Open a new internet browser window in βIncognitoβ mode if you are using Chrome, or βInPrivateβ mode if you are using Internet Explorer. Type in the password (or copy and paste it in) and it will work.
