My husband turned the big 4-0 this year. Round number birthdays are always extra special.
I didn’t do anything super-special or elaborate for his birthday, but he did get a pair of reading glasses (the joke turned out to be that they worked far better than he’d expected) and a shirt.
I knew he wouldn’t wear a shirt unless it was his favorite heavy cotton, black t-shirt without many colors… so that’s what he got.
