In Europe, Carnival is celebrated every year. This year, the kids’ school had the theme of “Historical Figures.”
J2 decided to be a modern history maker – Lady Gaga!

I try to use whatever I have on hand for their costumes. I cut up an old wig for the hair bow and hot-glued it to a yellow headband. The silver glitter part of her dress is wrapping paper with lines drawn on to make it look more like a disco ball. She had the black dress with sparkles from Christmas, and I stitched up a petticoat I had so she could wear it underneath.

The microphone is a cardboard tube wrapped in black vinyl, with a ball of aluminum foil glued on top. The rhinestones came on a roll, like tape (a similar product is available on Amazon) and I cut the letters out of glitter vinyl on my Cricut Maker.
